The sky was dark and cloudy with only a few of the morning sun’s rays shining upon the ruined city of Malewynn, soon to be the site of another ruinous battle. The city was located on elevated ground overlooking the floodplains surrounding it, it bore scars of past looting and burning and had numerous holes in the city walls. However the city seemed to be mostly quiet, it appears most of the population had fled in the face of imminent battle. Sentries sitting upon ruined sections of the city wall watched as a large host of Thendabians, Taelmen and mercenaries marched from the southwest and began their encirclement of the city.
The majority of the army’s cavalry, consisting of both Thendabian and Taelmen companies, arrayed themselves in front of the Malewynn main gate. The Thendabian infantry took the right flank of the cavalry facing the walls, while the Taelmen arranged themselves along the left flank. Two mercenary forces positioned themselves along the coast on both sides of the castles; the mercenaries who had set themselves up at the northern section of the wall along the coast consisted of two companies, the Bonechewers and the Smashas. The mercenaries along the eastern section of the wall along the coast consisted of the mercenary companies of Clan Urtskkyu, the Red Lions, the Smokers and the Rippers. Between both mercenary companies and the respective infantry they share the flank with was more cavalry stretched thinly between them each. Most of the artillery had been moved to higher, with only a sparse few placed within the battlelines, these few being both cannons and mortars in roughly equal number.
The Thendabian and Taelmen infantry were all equipped with leather armour and rifles, whilst the cavalry were equipped with the same but were also mounted on horses. Each infantry company consisted of 50 men and each cavalry consisted of 25 men.
There were only a few soldiers visible on Malewynn’s walls, for the most part they appeared to be teal clad archers and teal robed figures, the heaviest concentration of them appeared to be facing the two infantry blocks. Their numbers appeared to be negligible, the city walls masking their true numbers.
In front Clan Urtskkyu were two breaches in the walls, one near the sea and the other near a gatehouse. Standing in these breaches were swordsmen and archers numbering around 5 or 6, evidently they didn't seem intent on holding them.
The Smashas had only one breach which was far from the coast and near a gatehouse, this was guarded by around 10 archers and swordsman that were visible.
The Reapers found themselves facing around 400 Thendabian arrayed against them with a mortar and cannon. They could also spot some automatons and mechanical spiders.
The members of Clan Urtskkyu, the Smashas and the Reaper Cadre turned to their respective commanders, awaiting any pre-battle speeches and orders. Regardless whether these speeches are made, a horn is sounded and soon the sounds of artillery fire fill the air as they collide with the walls.

( All orders for your troops + optional battle speech are to be PMed to me and I'll post the results of these
