Well everyone, The day I have been waiting for for the last 7 years (Since I was 12) has finally arrived, I, Christopher James Scott, a small-town country boy, am going into the Australian Army. No, not as a Rifleman, Combat Engineer, Commando, Officer, or any of the things I originally applied for. I will be going in as a Mechanic Recovery. So, basically, a glorified Tow-Truck Driver with a gun. Nah, just kidding, they do shitloads more than that | QUOTE (DefenceJobs.gov.au) | | Mechanic Recovery serves in the Corps of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME). They are responsible for the salvage, recovery and towing of the Army's vehicles and equipment when they become bogged, broken down, damaged or disabled. The Mechanic Recovery operates a variety of specialist trucks and armoured (tracked and wheeled) recovery vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with winches, towing equipment and cranes. |
And my path of promotion will be: - Recruit
- Craftsman
- Lance-Corporal
- Corporal
- Sergeant
- Warrant Officer Class 2
- Warrant Officer Class 1
So yes, I need to ring Flight Sergeant Bonnar on Monday the 2nd November, book my fitness assessment and he said I should get in on the 1st of December. ---------------------------------------- In other news, if I'm away for 80 days training at least, possibly a lot more, in the Army. I will have no access to the Internet. It would be nice if Draconian could administrate the Technical Admin Duties, or maybe I may entrust Soldat to them... Anyways, what I would like to put forward to the members, is, delegate Technical Responsibilities, or, if there is someone who wants them (B62 maybe?), elect an interim Technical Admin that can do the job in the meantime? Poll is attached anyways for the purposes of it. Edit; I have added a third option, of letting Drac + Sold and a panel of ALL the Moderators decide who THEY want to be Tech Admin (I mean GMods and Veterans when I say that) -Hawk

Congratulations.
It is however not up to me or the moderators nor the members to decide the Technical Admin its up to Drac.
This does of course leave me as the only admin (given that Drac seems to have disappeared more than usual) to a dead site. Oh well.

The GuideWARNING Any and all games moderated by TsvitokSoldat are realistic. This means that characters will not defy any scientific laws and that they are mortal. Subsequently if you fuck up you will lose a character or at least something, enemies are calculating and intelligent, allies are as well.
However, if you do particularly well, or consistently well, I will reward you as any good moderator should. I do not encourage good RP, I encourage you to be a good RPer.
If you do happen to die, and you complain I will refuse to moderate for you, however if you are capable of accepting that its just a game and its played for fun, I will be more than willing to start you off on a new character. Hopefully you will learn your mistakes, and hopefully you have fun.
You have been warned.

I'm waiting for an update for Capua and podering taking another look at the Fallout game since I've become addicted to it on my 360
--------------------
Many moons have passed since the worms went to war. Onwards and upwards, bigger weapons than before. Boggy B took cover, he shivered on patrol. The arms race crazy, simply way out of control.
Then his friend threw it, the latest device. Boggy B went and got it, against all advice. (What the...?) His tail was split, and his energy lost. How many more will this dreaded war cost?
Then came the nuke, and the disease tumbling down. If the bug didn't get to you, you'd probably drowned. But the worms battled on, through hunger and pain. Living to fight, just to victor again.
And now it's the curtain call, the final onslaught, No better bullet could you possibly have bought. But spare a thought for Boggy and with it his friend. So fight with their honour, and fight until the end!

Wait, I thought initial training normally happened at Kapooka... damn I am illiterate on the Australian military base scheme (which is insane to say the least, should just do what the Yanks do and have a local base for everything).
